Supporting Documentation

Thank you for your interest in applying to Holy Cross Academy.   Admission is currently open for the 2025-2026 school year.  To apply for PK3 through 8th grade, please submit the following required items:

 

• ​​Completed Diocesan Application (online link)

• Copy of birth certificate (original to be presented to school personnel for verification)

• Copy of Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)

• Copy of student’s report cards and standardized testing for the past two years

• Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form and up-to-date immunization record (submitted before the start of the school year)

• Release of Student Records form signed by parent​​​

• Student Evaluation Form, filled out by student’s current teacher

  • Kindergarten​

  • Grades 1-8

• Parish Verification Form, must be completed and submitted by you to your Parish (Catholic families only).  Please view our Parishioner Policy here.

• Application Fee:  $50/child, $100/family - Pay online here

• Registration Fee: $100/Family- Pay online here

If applicable:

• Copy of IEP or SAP

• Copy of Custody Decree

​

Priority is given to families in this order:

1. Siblings of current Holy Cross Academy students

2. St. Mary registered parishioners

3. Catholics registered at other local Catholic Churches

4. Other families

When all documents have been submitted with the application fee, Dr. Fry will review and make acceptance decisions.
