Our school opened in 1998 under the guidance of the Diocese of Arlington Office of Catholic Schools. After an intensive self-study, we were fully accredited in 2004 by the Virginia Catholic Education Association which provides accreditation for Catholic Schools in the state of Virginia under the direction of the Virginia State Board of Education. We were formally re-accredited in 2010 and most recently again in 2016.

Our yearly accreditation renewal is a guarantee that we are maintaining or, in many circumstances, exceeding the standards set by the state and the Virginia Catholic Education Association.

In order to maintain our accreditation, all of our teachers hold current teaching certification and our teachers of Religion, as well as our principal and preschool director are certified catechists.
